Haynes Manor was developed during the 1920s and is named after Eugene Haynes who subdivided his own estate to create the neighborhood. The area once known as Battle Avenue commemorates the Battle of Peachtree Creek, which took place in 1864. Today the neighborhood is filled with homes almost 100 years old and beautifully landscaped.
